Kevin Shepherdson a Business & Marketing Strategist, a Mindset & Transformation Consultant, a Strengths-based Senior Management Trainer and a Technology Innovator.
In his 20-year career as a business and marketing strategist, he has held senior leadership roles with Creative Technology (where he co-owned the worldwide audio strategy), Sun Microsystems APAC (as Marketing Strategist & Director of Marketing Ops) and Oracle Corporation (Head, Demand Generation and Customer Intelligence).
Throughout his career, Kevin won multiple worldwide and Asia Pacific employee excellence awards, including those for Marketing Excellence, Market Intelligence and Technology Innovation. He specializes in training and consultancy services in the area of communication, strengths-based selling and marketing, mindset and transformation, applying concepts from psychology, neuro-semantics and neuro-linguistic programming. His "MovieMind" series of workshop was recently approved for 100% funding from MSF for parent-child communication (under the School Family Education programme).
Besides Kevin’s passion for training and personal and professional coaching, he is also an author and genealogist who has been featured on CNN.com, the Asian Wall Street Journal and Channel NewsAsia. In 2011, Kevin wrote the music and lyrics of one of Singapore's National songs and he is a trainer for the Singapore Memory Project.
Kevin holds a MSc degree (Internet & Media), BA (English Language) and is a certified Master Practitioner in NLP, Neuro-Semantics as well as Hypnotic Communication
Alvin Toh is a New Media Marketing, Multi-Sales and Channel Management Strategist. In the last 20 years, he has had a successful sales career spanning Enterprise Sales, Strategic-Selling and Regional Channel Sales covering multiple industries as well as managing a marketing consulting company.
Having managed a $100 million sales portfolio in highly competitive industries such as Finance, Telecoms, Healthcare as well as the Government sector, he has won multiple sales awards including five sales achievement awards, an Innovation award from Singapore Technologies for Industrial Systems (Oil Distribution which became a multi-million dollar product) as well as an Outstanding Asia South Sales Director when he was at Sun Microsystems.
Alvin went on to expand his sales career by forming his company, ThinkAccelerator, to provide strategic online marketing and business optimization services to companies. He has since helped clients to expand their channels of marketing beyond traditional media and geographies across these industries.
Alvin has spoken in many IT conferences and has conducted many workshops for both C-level executives of large companies and SMEs covering IT Architecture and Technology; Internet Marketing, and SEO (Search Engine Marketing and Optimization).
He holds an Executive MBA, International Business Administration, from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick and is well-versed in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, having been trained by Anthony Robbins.
Celine Chew is a Social Cognitive & Behavioural Psychologist and an Educator, her years of experience included senior leadership and management roles in MindChamps Singapore where she headed training and program development as well as extensive experience in schools. As a key member of the international expansion team as well as a regional trainer of trainers, Celine is familiar and experienced with the behavioural change required in implementation of programmes and initiatives. She has experience working with thousands of students from pre primary to university levels. This has provided a unique longitudinal view, which is not readily available to teachers and parents, of the impact and influences that childhood has on later development. She has also trained teachers on understanding how Mindsets of a child formed from a neuro-cognitive and psychological perspective.
Throughout her career, Celine has won accolades and employee leadership awards for learning and training innovation. She has extensive training experience internationally and specialises in the social, emotional and cognitive aspects of learning. She provides insights to the behavioural change and learning required for people and organisations to embrace change initiatives.
Celine graduated with a distinction in MSc (Social Cognition) from University College London, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NIE, NTU), BSc (NUS) and is a certified Master Practitioner in NLP, Coach and Values-Based Leadership Trainer.
Jim Khoo is a Leadership and Operational Excellence Expert, who is a Founding Member of The John Maxwell TEAM. He was personally trained by John Maxwell & his Faculty Members and has been certified as a Trainer to help individuals on personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods.
As a veteran in sales and service-support operations working with Oracle and Sun Microsystems where he managed the Asia Pacific team, he has created and developed teams that service partners and customers in more than 20 countries while ensuring revenue maximization and optimum customer satisfaction. As business partner to Sales and driving alignment and synergy across APAC, he successfully led the sales & services operations at Sun and grew it from $700 million to $1.2 billion in revenue. Jim attributes his operational excellence and success to the leadership principles taught by John Maxwell.
At the operations level, Jim brings with him significant management experience, which includes Operations Management, Order Management, Implementation and Change Acceptance Program (CAP).
At the personal level, Jim has helped many individuals reach their purpose and goals through an intentional plan of development. Working together with his participants with mutual accountability, he has facilitated positive and profitable change, improved productivity and created the atmosphere necessary for effective leadership for his participants.
Dr Thum Weng-Ho is a Marketing and Sales guru. He spent 15 years in the IT industry and a further 4 years in consultancy, lecturing and training. He has managed sales, marketing, engineering and operations teams in Asia. Dr Thum has worked mainly for US multi-national organizations such as Sun Microsystems, Intel and Cisco Systems and has travelled widely within the Asian region.
Dr Thum has a first degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA (with Distinction) in Strategy and Marketing. He also has a PhD in Business and Management – his doctoral thesis was focused on the Service-Dominant Logic of Marketing, an exciting topic in contemporary marketing literature. Dr Thum also attended a director’s course at the Singapore Institute of Directors when he was Managing Director of iPass, a US-based IT company, publicly listed on Nasdaq.
Currently, Dr Thum is an adjunct lecturer at Murdoch University where he lectures, amongst other subjects, Strategic Marketing at the MBA level for executives. He also runs Redshift Consultants, where he and his fellow doctoral colleagues operate a marketing consultancy practice.
